Open-source virtual keyboard software allowing complex key combinations for Indigenous orthographies.

I directly designed and updated keyboards (e.g. Dane-Z̲aa Z̲áágéʔ, ’Wuìk̓ala), and managed a team of three in a user consultation and improvement project to update all 90-100 keyboards.

In addition to the challenges of communication and management for a fragmented project spanning over 200 communities and 45 languages, I handled and advised on a variety of technical issues related to encoding, keystroke ordering, and standardization for young writing systems.
